The Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary lies in the Kozhikode District of the state of Kerala in India. It spreads over a cluster of islands where the Kadalundipuzha River flows into the Arabian Sea. The Sanctuary hill is around 200 m above sea level.The Sanctuary houses close to a hundred species of native birds and over 60 species of the migratory birds. Some of the birds that you can spot here are Malabar Hornbill, Red Shanks, Green Shanks, Sand Plovers, Kingfisher, Whimbrels, Darters, Myna, Terns, Seagulls, Herons, Woodpecker, Sandpipers, Cormorants, Turnstones, Black Kites, Brahminy Kites and much more.
